Norwegian folklore and nature-inspired composer Lasse Thoresen to create the feature composition Løp, lokk og linjer. Its Czech premiere will be presented by the Norwegian singer Berit Opheim with the Berg Orchestra which represents the opening concert of the 20th season of the Berg Orchestra.

Czech singer Xavier Baumaxa will perform a special concert in support of the popular culture space which it was recently announced will close its doors. With DJ Dušan playing the afterparty. According to organizers, the concert aims to send the message that “Karlin Barracks belong to the public!”

Manifesto open-air food market kicks off its spring season with brand-new vendors, colorful cocktails and traditional Czech beer on tap. This season promises more vegetarian and vegan dishes, live cooking and workshops and more. The Smichov location will open on March 14.
For Sama | Screening of acclaimed documentary with debate

The Oscar-nominated documentary film explores the female experience of war. A love letter from a young mother to her daughter, the film tells the story of Waad al-Kateab’s life through five years of the uprising in Aleppo, Syria as she falls in love, gets married and gives birth to Sama, all while cataclysmic conflict rises around her. Syrian photographer Rahaf Kherbhek will participate in a discussion following the screening.
