John Bills

John Bills grew up in the middle of Wales, doing so with terrible eyesight and an almost insatiable love of crisps and lists, but not lists of crisps. Somehow this all led to an adult life spent in the Balkans, which itself eventually became a life in Prague. John is the author of An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery, Via The Left Bank of the '90s and A Currency for the Cat: Travels in Bosnia & Herzegovina, and he is currently working on the next book in his seven volume Yugoslavia travel series (Fairly Obvious Observations: Travels in Macedonia, for the record). He still loves crisps and lists.
