Twitter Runs with “I’ve Never Been to Prague” Meme and It’s Hilarious

Trump special counsel Michael Cohen’s passport-pic public denial of his alleged visit to Prague has inspired a string of humorous imitations

Prague is trending for a number of reasons at the moment (its arctic winter for one, followed by reports that Stefano from the American soap Days of Our Lives is at large in the Czech capital).

But the Prague-related story that is currently stirring the political pot is that of Michael Cohen, special counsel to Donald Trump who was the subject of a dossier published Tuesday by Buzzfeed News that says he met with Kremlin officials in Prague in August 2016.

The Trump camp is calling the report “fake news” and a “total political witch hunt.”

Cohen has publicly denied having visited the country in the form of a tweet which inexplicably showed a photo of his closed passport and stated “I have never been to Prague in my life.”

Hardly definitive evidence that the guy has not, in fact, been to the Czech Republic.

As the allegations are being investigated, the photo is inspiring a wave of “I have never been to Prague” memes on Twitter, reports the Daily Dot
