Prague residents and visitors will have the opportunity to dine 50 meters above the city throughout the rest of this week at the unique Dinner in the Sky event.
An aerial restaurant experience that hoists patrons above cities across the world, Dinner in the Sky has proven a popular attraction in Rome, Los Angeles, Athens, Ljubljana, Cape Town, and elsewhere.
This week, it’s back in Prague for a five-night-only experience that runs through Sunday, September 11.
A table that can seat 22 guests will be suspended above the city by a crane at Prague’s Riegrovy sady through the weekend, offering patrons some breathtaking views from one the Czech capital’s highest points.
But the views, and the experience of being lifted 50 meters above Prague, aren’t the only draw for the event: meals prepared by some of the world’s top chefs are also on the menu.
Tonight and tomorrow, the featured chef is Giulio Terrinoni, who earned a Michelin Star at Rome’s Acquolina Hostaria.
Over the weekend, Ecuadorean chef Josué Vergara from Salzburg’s Restaurant Salieri will take over.
Prague in the Sky packages include a 60-minute dinner (99 EUR, roughly 2700 CZK) or a special dinner at sunset for an additional 20 EUR, along with less expensive options for Brunch (39 EUR), Lunch (59 EUR), or just a 20-minute cocktail (29 EUR).
