Scary Clowns Now Reported in the Czech Republic

Last week, we wrote about the growing number of “scary clown” sightings that have been reported in the United States and throughout Europe.

We speculated that it might only be a matter of time before they hit the Czech Republic.

Well, now they’re here, claims TV Nova.

In amateur video that has been shared on Facebook more than three thousand times since being posted by nova.cz last night, an individual in full clown costume is seen waiting in the middle of the road as a motorist approaches.

As the car gets closer to the clown, it throws a ragdoll at the vehicle.

The clown clip first surfaced on the pages of Extra.cz, which identified the video as coming from YouTube (we can’t find it) and pinpointed the location as a road between Ústí nad Orlicí and Libchavy.

However, many readers claim the video is a prank done in the style of YouTube channel DM Pranks (in fact, the clown is dressed identically to one featured in the DM Prank videos).

Little additional information – such as if a police report concerning the incident was filed – has been disseminated, and there doesn’t appear to be enough information in the video to make a positive identification of the location.

But the TV Nova report also notes the case of an unsolved gas station robbery in Ústí nad Orlicí in 2015… committed by a man wearing a clown mask.

So what do you think – is this a legit clown sighting in the Czech Republic?
