Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Age of Ultron aren’t the only well-established franchise films to hit cinemas in 2015: this year also sees the release of films in the Jurassic Park, Mad Max, James Bond, Terminator, and Fast & Furious series, along with new adaptations of Fifty Shades of Grey, Peanuts, Jem and the Holograms (!), remakes of Poltergeist and National Lampoon’s Vacation (Ed Helms as Clark Griswold?), and much more.
This year’s award for most unlikely sequel? A toss-up between The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Magic Mike XXL, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
But 2015 isn’t all sequels and remakes. 2014’s award-season favorites – such as Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper, Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken, and Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice – will trickle out in local cinemas over the next few months.

Note:Release dates are always subject to change; always check the cinema listings before heading out to the movies.
The following titles have been removed from the release schedule, and many are likely to go straight to DVD in the Czech Republic.
