While the weather doesn’t exactly look promising, this mix of indoor and outdoor events is meant to make you feel springy!

This morning, meterologists reported temps of -20°C in Šumava with the mercury dipping below freezing in numerous places throughout the country. The outlook for the coming weekend and into next week is not much better, unless overcast is your kind of weather. What’s a spring seeker in Prague to do?

The legendary Apríles festival takes place tomorrow through Sunday at Nákladové nádraží Žižkov. Organizers are promising a new space, new concept, and the most extensive program in the history of the festival.

A new exhibition at the Prague Botanical Garden lets visitors witness the transformation of butterflies, even touching the winged creatures for the ultimate sensory experience.

Enjoy some good old-fashioned spring fun

On Saturday, the first annual Libeň carnival will present a vintage fun fair complete with hand-cranked rides, craft demonstrations, games, and food stalls.

The following day, neighboring beer garden, community garden, and park Přístav 18600 opens for the spring season. Expect djs, the launch of a special Křižík 11° beer, and more.
