Size and Measurement
The IPC is introduced in the form of thematic units that include Food and Nutrition, Shapes and Patterns, Who Am I, the Five Senses and the Environment.
The Little Mole is the first member to receive full membership in the Czech Republic and one of several in Eastern Europe to have undergone the application process. The school demonstrated that it met the stringent accreditation requirements which include teacher training and professional development, facility safety and suitable curriculum implementation.
At the beginning of January 2011, The Little Mole International Preschool of Prague received the highly acclaimed International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) membership.
The Little Mole currently accepts children from the age of 6 months to 6 years. The school is divided into two groups, Nursery and Preschool. The Nursery group are aged from 6 months to 3 years, the Preschool group are aged from 3 years to 6 years.
Nursery students follow the IPC curriculum and an additional programmed activities. This programme is designed to assist the child towards independence, social awareness, the development of motor skills and language.
Preschool children are divided according to their age, the program is structured around the IPC curriculum with additional classes including; arts, gym classes, dance classes and visits to a salt cave. The Preschool day is timetabled so that the children understand the routine and become comfortable with it.
