Become a paid contributor.

From time to time we assign original content to qualified freelance contributors. We accept pitches year-round. While news and culture events are typically covered in-house, we often assign articles about interesting people from the expat community, lifestyles content, as well as practical articles that sync up with our Jobs, Food & Drink, and Education categories.

Before sending us your ideas and writing samples, please take a look at our site to get a feel for the kind of original content we regularly publish. We do not publish reviews or assign news-related stories to freelancers.

Please email your pitch to editor@expats.cz with the subject “New Writer” to be considered. A short email introduction that summarizes your past experience and links to your work is sufficient, we don’t need to see your CV.

Let us interview you.

We are always interested in hearing stories from expats living in Prague and the Czech Republic. If writing isn’t your thing but you’re eager to share your experiences about living and working here, please get in touch! If you’ve got a great story to tell we can help you tell it (note that this option is not for commercial businesses — if you are interested in paid advertising see here).

To be considered for an interview please write to cs@expats.cz with the subject “Interview me.” Due to the large volume of mail we receive we may not be able to respond right away. If you haven’t heard from us in a couple of weeks, feel free to follow up.

Share an idea or tip.

Do you know something we don’t? We’re constantly on the lookout for new and exciting things happening in Prague, from restaurant openings to events, or even services and products that might be of interest to our community. Feel free to share your tip by e-mailing our customer service department with the subject “Reader tip” at cs@expats.cz.
