Zlín Traffic Accident Leaves Trolleybus Airborne

A trolleybus in the Kvítkovice section of Otrokovice, Zlín region, veered off the road and into a utility pole earlier this morning, leaving the vehicle dangling in midair as a team of rescuers extracted trapped civilians.

Several injuries were reported, including four serious ones, and one woman was airlifted to the area hospital via helicopter.



It’s unknown at this time what caused the accident, but the apparently suffered from a heart condition and wound up in the hospital.

Traffic in the area is currently being diverted as the road remains closed.
